Fun in the Summer with A/C in the Library

Not going anywhere this summer? Come to the library, where we have fun stuff to do!

  • Mondays, 3-4pm: Wii Party: Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros Brawl, you name it, we play it!
  • Thursdays, 4-6pm: MG Anime Club: Preview Anime from the Web, discuss shojo stuff, and other misc stuff we do...
  • Fridays, 3:30-5:30pm: Chess Club: Exercise your brain with chess! It helps your strategic and analytic skills instead of letting your brain rot for the summer!

Auburndale Library Fact-of-the-Month!

  • Blocks for library cards are raised to $15 (It used to be $10). As long as you have under $15 in fees and fines, you can still check out items!

  • Friday, July 3rd, 2009: Independence Day.

Cooking with Green Gourmet
Thursday, July 23rd @4pm

Teens learn to choose foods that make them feel good, look good and have more energy. They'll prepare recipes from around the world, see a demonstration of knife skills, learn a holistic approach to wellness and prevention by making healthy food choices, discerning junk foods, tasting effectively and with respect, while learning new kitchen skills. Space is limited; preregsitration required.
