Be a Friend! of the Queens Library

Join the Friends of Auburndale Community Library!

What does a Friends Group do?

  • Creates public support for the Library
  • Sponsors programs designed to enhancee the cultural life of the community
  • Works with the Library staff on legislative advocacy
  • Provides direct financial assistance by working with Library staff to purchase special items not included in the Library budget

PSATs are back!

Helen Wu will be return in January with her PSAT preparation workshop. This is a 10-course workshop for teens ages 13 to18, concentrating on the verbal section of the PSATs. Limit 15 registrants. Please call us as soon if you would like to register today!

Holiday Closings

Auburndale Library will be closed on Monday, December 25th, in observance of Christmas day and Monday, January 1st, in observance of New Year's Day. We will be open on the Saturdays before the each holiday.

What got done today:

  • Had Shonen Jump, but really didn't read them
  • Watched the first four episodes of School Rumble Nigakki
  • Stopped in the between episodes to:
    • argue who would win in a fight: Naruto vs Ichigo
    • watched a AMV on YouTube
  • Got confused about the characters and who like who on Sukuran
